Reay Ranch in the 1950's
The Mogollon Rim country of Arizona is rich in Natural and Living History, with millenia of Ancient Native civilizations making their homes in the mountains and desert areas along the waterways that carved out the rugged scenery. Pioneers and cowboys settled in the valleys in the mid to late 1800's embedding a strong, self-reliant, yet easy going sensibility to the culture and way of life of the area.

Sarah, an avid hiker takes many of her paintings and narratives directly from her own hiking/photography day trips through the amazing countryside that surrounds her little town of Payson, AZ
